Mother’s Day Ride

Bike Ride to Channahon, lets meet at 10:30 am in the parking lot at Story Street.  This ride starts at Channahon access in Channahon, you travel on flat surface made up of crushed packed stone.  The trail is 14 miles to William G. Stratton State Park in Morris.  There are a couple of nice places to eat lunch and than 14 miles back to your car.  Bring your camera.

Directions: 

1. From 111th Street take Harlem to I-80 about 11 miles, take I-80 West to 55 about 22 miles.
2. Go South on 55 about 2 miles to Exit 248, which is Route 6.
3. Go West about 2.7 miles, turn left on Canal Street (there is a Subway Sandwich Shop)
4. Go to Story Street about .3 miles, at Story Street, turn Right into parking lot.
