Wine Ride
We plan to start the ride at 10:30 am Mich. time (9:30 am Chicago time - show and go; invite your friends and family). Activity open to all. A map leading from Warren Dunes State Park to the each winery will be provided at the ride. The loop is approximately 30-35 miles long with some hills. We start from the entrance of the state park and head toward the small town of Baroda. From Baroda we head to Domaine and Lemon Creek Wineries. The next stop is the Round Barn Winery which also produces beer and vodka. Tabor Hill is the next winery on the tour. It has fine dining and a nice patio and bar overlooking the vineyards. We head back from here to the state park. For those who want to camp, the facilities at Warren Dunes are good. Camping fees are $16/night, $25/night with electric, and $8 parking fee for the park entrance. There are many nearby restaurants if you don't want to cook. Showers are individual stalls and the bathrooms are flush toilets. The facilities are usually kept up well. They also sell firewood.
